Since completing the Positive Intelligence programme, I’ve noticed significant changes in both my mindset and behaviour.
I’ve become more self-aware, particularly in identifying when my 'saboteurs' are influencing my thoughts and actions. This awareness has allowed me to pause, shift my perspective, and respond more calmly and thoughtfully in challenging situations.
I feel more resilient and better equipped to handle stress, both professionally and personally. My inner 'sage' is stronger, enabling me to approach situations with curiosity and creativity rather than judgment or frustration. Relationships have also improved, as I’m now more empathetic and present during conversations.
Overall, the programme has given me tools to support a more positive, focused, and balanced approach to life, which I’ve carried forward in my daily routines
Your empathy, patience, and genuine belief in my potential were evident throughout the process, and it made a huge difference in my confidence and growth. Thank you for being such an inspiring and effective coach.

I expected to gain insight and tools for a more positive mindset but the course had surpassed those expectations. It has been deeper and more profound, with an immediate impact on how I think and feel.

We have been working together for many years, probably about 8 in total, and it started as Cheryl came into trial and deliver and RSHE programme. Since then, she has trained a group of us to deliver both the Year 9 &10 programmes. She left us with the resources which were brilliant at a time when there was not much around. (I know that with the statutory RSHE curriculum, there is so much more available today.) Cheryl is a fantastic role model in the delivery of the RSHE curriculum, ensuring a sensitive and inclusive approach, with a very calm manner. She is in no way intimidating nor patronising (I know that this can be pretty daunting) but I have learned so much from her. It is just about practice makes perfect and with Cheryl’s guidance I found my own way of doing things. She was a real support to get me going though.
I try to prepare answers for those questions that the students might ask just to get a laugh and I remember asking Cheryl how she would respond to the questions. I still use her responses in lessons today!
Even though they have received the training, many colleagues find the topic of intimate relationships too much for them, so this year, Cheryl has been working with Year 12 students on the issues of consent, harassment and abuse. She pitches it at a level that is appropriate for them and I receive great feedback from both staff and students. Cheryl has also helped us by sourcing other colleagues of hers who help to deliver the content in Year 12. I hope to use Cheryl more in the next academic year.

I have worked with Cheryl for over ten years. She is responsive and professional in her approach to our working relationship and a huge asset to our global business.
During this time she has supported our global Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) SMC | Susie March Consulting | international business with advice, resource development plus in person and online workshops.
Our projects together have been around such topics as equality, inclusion and sexual diversity. Cheryl has been able to develop culturally sensitive resources for use in countries such as China, Hong Kong, Ethiopia and Brazil. She approaches each new regions challenges with professional integrity and always finds new ways of engaging the occasionally, reserved participants.

Cheryl Sensei, thank you for teaching us. It is important to understand about healthy relationships. We hope you are coming back to our school soon.

The session was interactive and the conversations on our tables and throughout the training room
encouraged me to really think about what we were discussing, and have a space to voice my
thoughts. My thoughts can often wander off in training, so this kept me on the ball.
The training was serious but there was room for a giggle which is always welcome.

I think realising that young parents still face so much stigma and how that hasn’t changed much. It
just helped me to understand what our student parents are facings to approach it with greater
sensitivity. I think also using scenarios that are more inclusive - so same sex examples, interracial
or faith examples. I liked drafting those out. Cause so much of the material out there assumes a
heteronormative position, I liked exploring what these scenarios look like a bit more diverse.
